Russian WWII Airforce Major's Victory Parade Tunic
 
Russian Airforce Major's parade uniform with epaulettes . Tailor made and used on the Victory parade June 24, 1945. About only 10.000 parade tunics was ordered by Stalin for the victory parade. This is one of those!
 
Single-breasted parade tunic, olive green colour with one row of five uniform buttons. The collar is rigid, fastened with two hooks to the neck. The upper edge and ends of the collar are trimmed with a flight blue piping. At the back of the tunic is a wraparound cut, two flaps and four uniform buttons. The edges of the flaps are trimmed with a flight blue colored piping. The sleeve cuff is straight with a blue piping. Two gold coil's are sewn on the cuffs to the sleeves. Tabs are hand sewn to the collar. There is one larger star on epaulets, corresponding to the rank of Major pinned in Place as well as one flight wing made of silver.
 
To the right side of the tunic there are period made holes for two orders and garde unit badge all leaving clear ghost marks. To the left breast side is marks for one additional order, most likely Red Banner.
 
The tunic is in very good, Little used condition with slight signs of wear and storage.
 
Sold separately is the Awards, belt and visor cap!
