Russian WWII Artillery Captain's Victory Parade Tunic And Trousers

 

Russian Artillery captain with epaulettes parade uniform. Tailor made and used on the Victory parade June 24, 1945.

 

Single-breasted parade tunic, khaki colour with one row of five uniform buttons. The collar is rigid, fastened with two hooks. The upper edge and ends of the collar are trimmed with a red edging. At the back of the tunic is a wraparound cut, two flaps and four uniform buttons. The edges of the flaps are trimmed with a red edging. The sleeve cuff is straight with a red piping. One gold coil is sewn on the cuffs of the sleeves. Tabs are hand sewn on the collar. There are four stars on epaulets, corresponding to the rank of captain and the emblem of the Artillery are attached with pins through the epaulet. To the right side of the tunic there are period made holes for 3 orders. Leaving clear ghost marks.

 

The tunic comes complete with tailor made parade breeches. Made of dark blue Heavy cloth with a red edging denoting service in a artillery unit. Thrre buttons and a steel hook to the waist and hip pockets on both sides, one small pocket on the front left. On the back of the belt are 2 buckles for size adjustment.

 

Both the parade tunic and mathing trousers is in very good slightly used condition. Small signs of age and storage wear. Minor tracking to the cloth. 

 

Sold separately is the Awards, belt and visor cap. Photos shown from the parade is just for reference!
