Russia WWII Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad
The Medal "For the Defence of Stalingrad" was awarded to all participants in the defence of Stalingrad—soldiers of the Red Army, Navy and troops of the NKVD, as well as persons from the civilian population who took part in the defence of Stalingrad between 12 July and 19 November 1942.
Medal "For the Defense of Stalingrad" was awarded to approximately 759.560 people. This Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad (Type 1) with the eye of the medal attached by soldering. This type was awarded during the Second World War. The medal is complete with original war time ribbon and medal block which is correct two-layer, made of brass. The medal is in good used condition.
