Russian WWII M43 Combat Tunic For a Naval Air Force Captain

 

Tunic Modell 1943, according to order of People's Commissariat of Defense of the USSR dated January 15, 1943 No. 25
"Rules for wearing uniforms of the Red Army and Red Fleet"

 

This tunic was used by a Captain of naval aviation under WWII and is made high quality, light weight blue colored, rayon/wool blend cloth. Five buttons for front closure with a stiff standing color with two hooks to the neck. To each shoulder is m43 type epaulette with Four smal stars to each made of metal and pinned in place and the emblem of the pilot of naval aviation. Two chest pockets with scaloped pocket flaps, and two pockets to each hip. Each cuff  also have two buttons each with a navy anchor.

 

To each breast side is clear ghost marks for Awards. Two "Red Banner Order", and Order "Red star" all with screw back device.
Inside is fully lined with dark-blue fine rayon blend cloth. One inside buttoned down pocket with tailors label still intact. The label reads: "Masterskaja nr 1387, Leningrad". The tunic show overall good used condition with signs of wear and age, no damage!
