Russian WWII M43 Service Tunic For a Naval Air Force Lieutenant

 

 

Tunic Modell 1943, according to order of People's Commissariat of Defense of the USSR dated January 15, 1943 No. 25
"Rules for wearing uniforms of the Red Army and Red Fleet"

 

 

This tunic was used by a Lieutenant of naval aviation under WWII and is made high quality, slightly ribbed blue colored, tricot cloth. Five buttons for front closure with a stiff standing color with two hooks to the neck. To each shoulder is m43 type epaulette with two smal stars to each made of metal and pinned in place and the pilot cypher. Two chest pockets with scaloped pocket flaps, and two pockets to each hip. 
Ribbon bar in place with following awards: Order of the Red Banner, Red Star Order and Medal For Courage.

 

The tunic is in very good, still used condition with light sign of wear all over. Ribbon bar and shoulder straps match perfectly in age and use.

 

The tunic comes with a two period photos. One of the photos has an inscription:
"To the best radio specialist of the 35th assault air regiment and service friend Boris Dmitriyevich Kochergiev from Volodka Domrachev's "Remember the Lazy Boy and the Drunkard" July 2, 1945 Germany, Diepp".


35th Assault Air Regiment, 9th Assault Air Division,  Naval  of The Red Banner Baltic Fleet, formed April 25, 1943 Participated in Battles Until May 1945.

 

Rather scarce tunic in good used condition!!
