Named Heer M36 Summer Weight Tunic For a Well-Decorated Infantry Oberleutnant

High quality, tailor made M36 tunic made of green/grey light weight cotton. Bottle green collar, five button front closure. Four pleated patch front pockets with scalloped button down flaps and Deep french cuffs. Machine sewn to the collar is a pair of Heer officer's collar tabs with White center stripes. To the shoulder's is a pair of matching slip-on straps made of Russian braid on White wool backing. One gold washed rank alloy pip is pinned in Place to each strap. Above the right breast pocket is a NCO/Officer's style breast eagle machine sewn in Place. To the left upper sleeve is a "KUBAN". The shield is attached to a field grey backing which has been hand sewn to the tunic. To and under the left breast pocket is Award loops sewn for Three Awards. Above the left breast pocket is loops sewn for a 2-3 Place ribbon bar.

Inside is partly lined with grey colored satin cloth to the shoulder area. Under the lining we clearly feel and see shoulder padding. Dagger hanger with metal clip sewn to the left inside armpit and corresponding sewn slash opening for the clip to pass through. A name label is neatly hand sewn to the right inner lapel. It reads: "Adolf Schuster".

The tunic shows light signs of real use, for example subtle nap loss to the inside collar and minor soiling to the end of the sleeves. A couple of the buttons shows some oxidation and the "KUBAN" sleeve Award has minor spots of light Surface rust. All in all, the tunic has been Little used during the war and stored well but in a slightly to humid evironment.

Looks great on display and hard to find with the desirable KUBAN sleeve Award. Also named and researchable!!
