Heer Panzer Oberfeldwebel's M40 Combat Tunic With KRIM Shield
Oberfeldwebel in panzer branch of service, M40 pattern tunic with period added bottle green collar. Five buttons front closure. Tunic is made in field-grey combat wool and is a issue tunic which have been slightly shortened. Tunic has dull aluminium tresse machine sewn to collar. "Einheits litzen" with pink branch of service stripes sewn to dark green underlays have also been machine sewn to collar. Dark-green top shoulder strap which are piped in grass pink wool also with aluminum NCO´s tresse sewn around them. Each board also have two rank alloy pinned in Place.
Bevo EM/NCO´s grey colored breast eagle on dark-green backing, hand sewn to the top and folded down for a "invisable seam" sides and roundel machine sewn above right breast pocket (not through the lining). Tunic have three sets of loops for badges on left breast pocket, two loops for 2 or 3 Place medal ribbon bar and Iron Cross 2´nd class and East Front Medal ribbon 's hand sewn in second button hole. All original buttons. To the left upper sleeve is a KRIM Award shield on field grey backing hans sewn in Place.
Inside is lined with grey colored brushed cotton. Clearly sized marked and there is also a faint "LAGO ....." stamp for the clothing depot.
The tunic is in very good condition with light signs of age and use. All insignias match perfectly to the tunic in wear and tear. Both shoulder straps pips and KRIM shield (made of metal) shows light oxidation.
