Cavallery Rgt 13 Oberleutnants Piped Service Tunic and Augilette

Tunic is made of high quality ribbed wool tricot, it has six button front as well as golden yellow wool piping down the front, as well as around French cuffs and darkgreen collar.

Tunic has sewn-in Officers Dress shoulderboards piped on golden yellow wool base. Straps has one golden pip each as well as a set of ”13” cyphers denoting rank of Oberleutnant in Cavallery Rgt 13. On the darkgreen collar we find officers bullion collartabs on the same golden yellow wool base. Nice Bullion eagle on dark-green wool base, hand sewn above right breastpocket. Above left breastpocket are loops for a ribbonbar as well as the acctual bar with award for Iron Cross 2´nd class and Eastmedal. On left pocket and under we find loops for three awards, most certainly a Iron Cross 1´st class, both for screw type and pin type, Combat badge as well as wound or sport badge. On right shoulder a Officers Augilette in very good condition.

Fully lined in black rayon cloth with pyjama striped cloth in sleeves. Has slot sewn to inside of lower left pocket and dagger hanger strap attached. At neck is a tailorlabel to a Dutch tailor in Maastricht. Not so common to find Dutch made tunics.

High quality tunic which has seen some use, it has slight signs of use inside and some small stains on the outside, slightly bleeched by sun, a very nice piped service tunic.
