First pattern RLB (air protection League) as introduced 1933 and replaced with the second pattern in 1937. Made of silver paint washed, die stamped alloy. The reverse of the buckle is a mirror image of the obverse with intact buckle catch and prong bar still intact. The buckle also has the leather retaining tag still in Place. The tab is nicely maker and year of production marked "Springer & Co Berlin 1935". There is also a (most likely) unit mark stamp "2 SL". The end of the strap is also marked "BSl". Both the buckle and leather tab is in very good condition and shows only light signs of age.
