Waffen-SS B Pattern Camouflage Autumn/Winter Reversible Hood
Oak-leaf "B" pattern camouflage was a late 1942, early 1943 variation of the Oak-Leaf "A", pattern that was originally developed in 1941 and was utilized through to 1945 for a wide variety of garments.
Cotton/rayon blend construction reversible winter hood with the machine roller printed autumn Oak-leaf "B" camouflage pattern to one side. Reversible to white, with an internal padding. Each side of the hood has an ear panel which reveals the internal padding. The tie string has been removed and a push button is sewn for closure. The push button match the hood perfectly in wear and tear. A much smarter and faster solution for the front line Waffen-SS Soldier to just snap a button in Place in alarm situations instead of tie the strings in Place.
The hood shows clear signs of use and age with some color fading, a couple of minor wear holes and some soiling.
Combat used example still in good condition!!
