Heer Nebelwerfer Officers Visor Cap, Pekuro
Officers visor cap made of highest quality field doeskin wool with burgundy almost rosewood red wool piping for service in Nebelwerfer branch of service. Cap has at front a nickel silver heer eagle pinned in place as well as a bullion hand embroidered officer wreath/cocade. Buttoned in place with one pebbled silver washed button is an officers Heavy aluminium/silver chincord.
Outside Cap shows virtually no signs of use. MINOR storage dust and very light signs of use. Interior is made of fine light green rayon material. Celluloid sweat/dirt protection Diamond intact to 95%. The Diamond is makred "Stirndruckfrei Deutsche Reichspatent". Green leather sweat band all intact. Standard vulcanfiber visor with green colored crossed ribbed inside. The cap also has the for "Pekuro" unique padded and smooth black velvet band which the sweat band is sewn to Close to the edge of the cap. Inside, cap shows some stains to the forhead area just above the sweat band. Overall VERY good condition with minor signs of age and use.
Good large size approx 58-59.
One of the hardest branch colors to find and this cap is most likely the best preserved example on the market today!!
