Luftwaffe Officers Visor cap, Maker Marked EREL

Luftwaffe Officers visor cap made of luftwaffe blue/grey ribbed tricot cloth with twisted silver/aluminum cord. Luftwaffe style officer's Bullion eagle and wreath/cockade at front as well as Officers heavy aluminium/silver chincord to the front. All war time attached. To the front between the eagle and wreath is a paratrooper miniature pinned in place. The miniture has no swastika and it looks like it never had one (1957 version). Conclusion, added postwar by the vetran or by the previous owner. Anyway now its there, possibel to remove it or just leave it for the cool look.

Inside cap is lined in a light-green rayon cloth. Cap still have 100% of the original sweat shield in place. On the sweat shield one can still read out the maker mark "EREL, Sonderklasse". Caps original brown colored leather sweatband still in place. The sweatband is also maker marked "EREL". 

Outside it is in good still used condition the officer's cord shows some oxidation. The cord is broken at one place at the rear side of the crown. Inside shows matching signs of age and use with some water and sweat stains. All in all, good used condition.

Size is approximately 56.5 - 57.

Well used cap with a super cool apperance!!
