Kriegsmarine Coastal Artillery Officers´s Visorcap, EREL manufacture.
Pre/Early war made cap is made of finest fieldgrey doeskin wool material, piped in darkgreen wool with darkgreen cap band. Gold metal eagle (of the KM type with one single middle needle) and cocade to front. Golden Officers heavy chincord is attached by two gilt anchorbuttons. Erel shiny beige/tan laquered vulcanfibre bill.
Cap is lined in Golden Yellow Rayon Cloth. Cap still have 100% of it original sweatshield intact, under the sweatshield one can easily read the ErEl Sonderklasse markings as well as the high class distriutor ”Eduard Sachs”. It is not easy to find such a cap with that distributor, it must have been owned by someone rich or important, or both. Cap still have it´s original beige/tan leather sweatband which is in matching condition to the rest of the cap. On the backside of the sweatband, the cap once had orange sponge foam at front for comfortable wear, it has however dryed and fallen of.
Cap shows very little wear and was only used during a short period, it is very hard to upgrade.

Kriegsmarine Coast Artillery caps are hard to come by and this a rare Erel one with a very rare distributor. You will probably never find another!!
