Heer Panzer EM/NCO´s M43 Field Cap
Black Panzer combat cloth body, typical mid war cloth. Has Triangular type eagle/cocade trapezoid sewn to the front of the cap. Insignia is machine sewn to front of the cap. Also to front two black painted pebbled buttons. Lining is common grey rayon cloth. Cap is in well worn condition. It have napwear all over more at highlighted positions, the buttons also show matching wear. Outside also show dirt to the cloth which is hard to catch on the pictures, the cap have a nice well worn feeling to it. The trapezoid hast started to fray as seen on the Pictures and has a couple of extra hand sewn threads. Looks like an old mending to prevent the trapezoid from further fraying. All parts are still there and it matches the wear of the cap.
Inside rayon lining show wear, fading and much dirt from sweat, oil, grease and hair products. There are very faint markings to the lining they have been almost worn away. There is one wear hole located to the right side of the turn down flap (see Pictures). The whole cap also have the musty smell only a combat worn cap have. Correct construction in every aspect with correct inner reinforcement etc etc etc. Cap have a very nice shape as well.
