Made of early war field-grey colored cloth with drill type lining. Inside lining we find a makers stamp, "H.W.Bachmanns Wwe. Arnstadt" and size "57" as well as year of manufacture "1937". At front is an early Bevo EM/NCO´s eagle on lightgrey backing hand sewn in place. On front of turn-up there is a matching BEVO cocade also hand sewn to it. Grass green soutache denoting service in Jäger/Gebirgsjäger unit machinesewn to cap in the correct way. Heavy brass vents on either side of crown with proper crimping. Notice that this early cap has a reinforcment buckram inside the lower part of cap, as it should be with these early ones.

The cap shows minor signs of real use, with a hint of sweat/soiling to the lower part of the lining and for / backhead area. Outside shows minor signs of storage wear.

Textbook and very scarce early war produced overseas cap, completely untouched with desirable insignias and branch piping!!
