Heer Panzer EM/NCO´s M34 Overseas Cap with pink Soutache
Regular Issue Cap made of black cloth commonly seen on earlier panzer caps and wrappers. At front is a grey on black backing Bevo EM/NCO´s eagle hand sewn in place. On front of turn-up there is a matching BEVO cocade also hand sewn in place. Cap has a pink soutache machine sewn to the front as well. Heavy vents on either side of crown with proper crimping.
Inside cap is lined with grey/silver rayon. Most caps like this was produced with brushed cotton lining. Rayon lined examples was produced as well but harder to find. Inside is also well marked with maker stamp "J. Schmatz & Co. Kappenfabrik Wien VII./82 Naubaug. 33 telefon 13 37-6-75" as well as a size marking "56". There is also another mark "W 553" which most likely is an inventory or depot stamp.
The cap is in very good condition with light signs of age and use. Light nap wear to the outside and light stains inside as well as some sweat stains.
