Heer Signals NCO/Officers (upgrade) side cap.
Cap which has seen quite some use. Fieldgrey cloth body with bluish drill type lining. No makermark as we can find but a size marking "58". At front it has a flatwire Officers type eagle on dark green backing hand sewn in place. On front of turn-up there is a EM BEVO cocade on dark green backing also hand sewn to it. Yellow soutache denoting service in Signals unit. Heavy vents on either side of crown with proper crimping (One painted fieldgrey one in unpainted zink (replacement ?).
Cap shows napwear, especially to edges and highlighted positions it also have some sweatstaining. It have no holes, rips, tears or mothing though. Inside show matching wear with bleech, sweat staining and dirt to lining. Signals branch caps are not so easy to find. Cap was eather ordered by a NCO or a Officer and is a private purchase cap.
