Waffen-SS second pattern helmet cover in oak leaf camouflage. The entire cover is printed on a cotton linen fabric in the pattern of « Oak Leaf A ». All original camouflage foliage loops are present and factory sewn. All hooks and rockers are intact and functional. All springs remain, they are still rather flexible. The cover shows clear signs of use with some color fading mostly to the spring side. There is also a tear located to the front situated just above the reinforcement seam. The tear is 10cm tall. There is also a handful of nips and minor wear holes. Strong and contrasting colors throughout.

 

We did not want to cause extra stress to the tear and decided to photograph the cover flat instead of on a helmet. The cover is a smaller sized one and would most likely fit on a helmet sized 64.
