The Transport and Glider Squadron Operational Flying Clasp was introduced by Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring on November 19th 1941. Awarded in three grades of, Bronze for 20 operational flights, Silver for 60 operational flights and Gold for 110 operational flights.

This badge is a two piece die struck alloy construction clasp with bronze washed finishes. The eagle is secured to the clasp with a single, small, dome headed, rivet which is visible on the reverse. Hinge, bottle shaped pin and Catch all intact to the reverse. The obverse shows 95% of the original finish still intact. The reverse also shows clear signs of hand tooling we like to see on original war time exampels. The badge is in very good condition with signs of age and light signs of use.

Used exampel in still very good condition, perfect to display on a Luftwaffe tunic or add to your growing Luftwaffe flight badge Collection!!
