Hermann Göring established the Luftwaffe Ground Combat Badge on March 31st 1942, for award to all Luftwaffe personnel who had distinguished themselves in ground combat.

 

Zinc base Construction, manufactured by J. E. Hammer & Söhne. Two piece Construction with riveted tombak eagle. The badge shows minor and still retains a good portion of its silver, grey and black colors. Hinge, pin and Catch all intact to the reverse.

 

(H&S produced badges are always unmarked and were linked to this maker because of the bags that came with the badges!)

 

Hard to find in better condition!!
