Parade Mounted Iron Cross 2'Class 1939 Maker Marked 40
Three piece Construction with a magnetic Iron core. The original black paint is intact to about 99%. The cross is mounted with its original red, White and black satin ribbon on a metal backing plate. The medal suspension ring is maker marked "40" for "Berg & Nolte, Lüdenscheid". The Bright metal plate is complete with fastening device to the reverse. Reverse of the medal bar is covered with black wool cloth.
Actually rather hard to find parade mounted. Perfect to display on a dress tunic!!
