War Merit Cross 1'st Class L/12 With Swords in LDO Case of Issue
Nickel/silver plated die struck Zinc award. The plain reverse has a bottle shaped pin, hinge and catch all intact. The reverse is maker marked stamped "L/12" for " C.E. Juncker, Berlin". The cross retains about 80% of the original silver wash.
The cross comes housed in a thick pressed cardboard case with black simulated leather covering. Interior of case has a white flock lining to fold back top and a white flock lining to bottom with recessed cut-out. The case is in very good condition with minor storage wear.
Later war produced Juncker Cross and LDO marked case in very good condition!!
