Iron Cross 1939 2'Class Maker Marked 24 With Envelope of Issue

 

 

Iron Cross 1939, Second Class. Three piece Construction with a magnetic Iron core. Still Bright silver finish to the edges and black paint to the Iron core is intact to about 85%. The cross comes complete with suspension ring and ribbed rayon ribbon. The suspension ring is maker marked "24" for Arbeitsgemeinschaft fur Heeresbedarf in der Graveur & Co". "Hanau". The cross is in good codition with signs of age and use.

 

The cross comes in a Award issue paper envelope. The envelope is clearly maker marked to the reverse (same manufacturer) and is in good condition with some folds and age color fading.

 

Getting harder to find matching sets. Especially from the harder to find manufacturers!!
