Iron Cross 2'Class 1939 Maker Marked 44

 

Iron Cross Second Class 1939. Three piece Construction with magnetic Iron core. The cross comes complete with suspension ring and correct rayon ribbon. The suspension ring is maker marked "4" for "Jakob Bengel, Idar/Oberdonau". The cross is in gvery ood condition with virtually all black paint intact to the metal core. The silvered edges shows a nice age patina.

  

Very nice made by a rather scarce manufacturer!!
