East Front Medal 1941 - 1942
The Russian Front Medal was instituted May 26th 1942 to commemorate the first winter campaign in Russia. Qualification being at least fourteen days of participation in combat on the Russian front between November 15th 1941 and April 15th 1942.
The medal is made of high quality die struck Zinc and comes complete with intact suspension ring and ribbed rayon ribbon. The medal is in very good condition with strong details and 99% of the original grey and silver paint wash still intact.
