Mothers Cross In Silver With Issue Envelope
Introduced by Hitler on December 16th 1938 in Three grades. The three grades consisted of the bronze cross for bearing four or five children, the silver cross for bearing six or seven children and the gold cross for bearing eight or more children.
Second pattern cross made of stamped tombac award with a silver wash and blue and white enamel work. Reverse has simulated handwritten script, "16 Dezember 1938" and facsimile Hitler signature. Original ribbon is also included. The cross is in very good condition with intact enamel.
The cross comes with a blue colored paper issue envelope with black printed Gothic script to front "Ehrenkreuz der Deutschen Mutter Zweite Stufe". Reverse has black printed manufacturers name. There is a tear to the reverse, besides that good condition.
