Germany Imperial 1914/1918 Naval Corps Flanders Cross
Instituted 1921 and awarded in only about 30.000 examples.
The cross is made of Tombal with a bronze color wash. The obverse with "Zur See Unbesiegt im Felde" which translates to: "Undefeated in the Sea" in high relief on all four arms of the cross. The reverse bears the Prussian naval flag, inscribed “Marinekorps” and "1914/18". Mounted with it's correct ribbed satin ribbon in black, white and red to a metal plate. The reverse is covered with dark-blue cloth. Attachment pin intact to the reverse. The medal is in very good condition.
