Waffen-SS Danish Volunteer's Sleeve Shield
As with most other Germanic foreign volunteers serving with the Waffen-SS the Danes were allotted an identifying sleeve shield to be worn on the lower left sleeve of the tunic and field blouse.
This is a german manufactured sleeve shield for Danish volunteers serving in the Waffen-SS. Made of black wool, shield shaped base with machine embroidered Danish flag with a red shield shaped base and central white Latin style cross. Un-issued example in very good condition.
