Waffen-SS Officer's Sleeve Eagle
High quality hand embroidered Waffen-SS officer’s sleeve eagle in bright silver/aluminum wire and bullion threads with black accent threads on a cut-out black wool base. Protective grey paper backing still intact to the reverse. The eagle has been glued to a photoalbum and later removed with glue and paper remains (see Pictures). All in all, a very nice example in very good condition.
According to the former owner: This eagle was bought in the early 90's directly from a Norwegian volunteer, who fought against the germans.
