The Kurland pocket was an area of the Kurland Peninsula where a large group of German forces was cut off and surrounded by the Red Army for almost a year, lasting from July 1944 until May 1945.

All Kurland cuffs were made in Latvia during the war, and there are a wide variety, as many were local made. This is an example of a local made variant.  Still perfectly fine original. The cufftitle is made of beige/white drill body with hand embroidery black details. The length is 20cm and height 3.7cm. It appears to be in full length. Overall good condition with age toning, minor stains and chafe wear to the edges.
