Luftwaffe Signal Peronnel's Trade Badge
The Signals trade badge was introduced on November 8th 1935 for wear by signals personnel in flight and anti-aircraft units, who hadn’t qualified for one of the five Air-Signals speciality badges.
The badge is constructed of Luftwaffe blue/grey woolwith a machine embroidered blitz arrow in silvery/grey rayon threads to the center. The reverse of the badge has a loosely woven, protective black fabric backing. Obverse is Close to perfect, reverse shows old glue stains.
