Feurschutzpolizei NCO's Collar Tabs

July 1936 to bring about uniformity in dress for all police through-out the country. One of the new uniform regulations was the introduction of specific branch of service colors to identify the assorted branches of Police service with carmine being allotted to personnel serving with the fire protection police. Police personnel wore the collar tabs in matching pairs with the base being in the appropriate branch of service color.

This is a fully matching pair of machine woven collar tabs with a carmine rayon base with machine woven litzen in bright silver/aluminum flat-wire threads. The collar tabs are trimmed in bright twisted, silver/aluminum cording. Very good condition, unissued.
