Adolf Hitler Bust, Medium Size Version by H.M. Ley
Hedwig Maria Ley bust of Hitler sculpted in 1932. This is a wartime cast in most lfine zinc with a bronze finish. The finsh is brennlak, the impregnated lacquer finish found on wartime bronze-finish. The piece is hollow cast in a single piece including the zinc two-tier base. It measures 23cm tall including the base. The condition is good no cracks or damage to the metal. There is some light pitting to the bronzed finish in various places which can be seen in the photos. The front side of the base is professinally engraved: "Strolch-Preis SVN 1913-1938".
Scarce 23cm Hitler bust from the well known and recognized sculptist from the period!!
