German WWII State Service Banner
High quality and most likely a pre or early war production. Made of red colored cotton front side with an circular White cotton disc to the center. Inside the disc is a fixed swastika with White chain embroidered highlights. To the upper left corner is a very fine, hand made national eagle, made of White cloth with black cotton machine sewn details. The detials also has the same type of machine-chain stitching as the swastika has. Edges timmed in twisted silver fringe. Silver-wire attatchment cords still intact to each top side corner. Manufacturers label still intact and machine sewn in Place. Reverse has green colored backing, the green color is most likely a state designation color. Size is 57cm x 37cm. The banner is in overall good condition with only light age toning. There is one small hole located to the front situated above the swastika and two holes of similar size to the reverse.
