Winterhilfswerk Donation Can, Gau Mainfranken
Red painted tin with raised lettering highlighted in silver reading "Gau Mainfranken" and with a round hole on the hinged lid for Papier geld and a slot for coins. Inner lid has coin check mechanism attached with 3 rivets. Bottom marked with maker information - M. Westermann & Co., G.m.b.H and with WESCO logo: "Neheim-Ruhr".
The can has approximately 95% of the original red paint still intact. A couple of dings and spots of Surface rust. Storage dust to all exposed parts. The inside shows no rust and is in well preserved condition.
