Winterhilfswerk Donation Can, Gau Bayr.-Ostmark
Red painted tin with raised lettering highlighted in silver reading "GauBayr.-Ostmark" with a round hole on the hinged lid for Papier geld and a slot for coins. Inner lid has coin check mechanism, bottom marked with maker information - M. Westermann & Co., G.m.b.H and with WESCO logo: "Neheim-Ruhr".
Red original paint finish intact to about 90%. The can shows clear signs of age and use with some spots of rust and paint loss but no dents as often seen on donation cans from the period.
