Red painted tin with raised lettering highlighted in silver reading "Gau Berlin" with a round hole on the hinged lid for Papier geld and a slot for coins. Inner lid has coin check mechanism, bottom marked with maker information - M. Westermann & Co., G.m.b.H and with WESCO logo: "Neheim-Ruhr". This example has the handle movable and riveted in place to each side.
Red lacquer finish intact to about 99%. Good condition with just a couple of dings.
