Early Hitler Youth Knife RZM M7/51 1937 With Motto
Early Hitlerjugend knife with motto. Forged steel Construction, nickel/silver plated blade. The obverse of the blade has the acid etched motto, "Blut und Ehre!". The reverse of the blade is nicely maker marked to "RZM M7/51" for "Anton Wingen Jr". The blackened leather washer is still intact.
Tooled alloy construction hilt and a pommel. The knife has molded black diamond grooved bakelite grips with dual retaining rivets fully intact. The obverse grip has an imbedded enameled and silver washed alloy HJ diamond. The knife comes with it’s original magnetic sheet metal scabbard. Straps and snap are all complete.
The knife is in VERY good condition with minor signs of age and handling. The motto is still clearly visable, the blade is factory sharpened (still very sharp) and straight. HJ "Diamond" has a perfect fit with intact enamel.
Very hard to find in better condition especially a early example with the desirable motto intact "Blut Und Ehre"!!
