Kriegsmarine 2nd Model Dagger with Hangers and Portapee
Makermarked Original Eickhorn, Solingen. Gilted brass hilt fittings show wear and age patina and retains some of original guilding. White celluloid grip is without cracks and chips, wiring is all intact. There is just signs of wear and slight dirt to the grip. Plated double-etched blade is in very good+ condition. Etch pattern features fouled anchor and sailing ships and retains more or less all the background frosting in the etch pattern. There are just some slight runners and minimal spots of darkening to the blade.
Gilted brass scabbard with lightening bolts and other markings has no dents and is in Good condition with three small dents. Dagger is complete with its original aluminum portepee tied in correct reef knot as well as a very nice set of dagger hangers.
All in all it would be hard to upgrade this very nice untouched Dagger complete with hangers and knot!!
