Waffen-SS Medical Pouch Marked: SS 48/35 RZM
Within medical units EM’s and Junior NCO’s with basic medical training acted as medical orderlies or stretcher bearers under the command of Doctors with Officers ranks. The EM/NCO’s acting as medical orderlies and stretcher bearers were each issued with two medical pouches equipped with basic medical supplies to be worn on the load carrying waist belt.
This is a very rare Waffen-SS Medical pouch, roughly 10cm tall, 17cm wide, and 8cm thick. Made of molded black leather with a slightly curved reverse machine stitched seams and steel fittings. Inside is complete with compartment diveders, extra straps and the fold open top lid has the Brown leather pouch still intact. The reverse of the pouch is maker marked "SS 48/35 RZM". Overall very good condition with light signs of age and use.
