Pioneer Short Handled Wire Cutter With Carrying Case 

 

This is the short version designed for the Pioneer Gruppenführer. Wire cutter is made of blackaned steel which stamped with year of manufacturing "1938", maker marked "VBW" as well as "WaA146" markings. Handle is covered with the correct insulated pressed paper with bakelite end stoppers/caps. The wire cutter shows light signs of age and use.

 

Complete with carrying case made of black leather. Closure strap intact as well as leather loops to the reverse. Inside is year and maker marked "Voegels Köln, 1940". The case shows only minor chafe wear.
