Heer M35 Map / Dispatch Case
First pattern m35 pebbled black leather construction. The case has a fold over top closure flap with a closure strap which attaches to a roller buckle which is machine stitched to the bottom of the cases body. The front of the case features a ruler pocket to the left side, seven pencil holders and a small pocket to the right side with an internal quick release pull tab. The reverse of the case has two machine stitched belt loop straps with metal length adjustment roller buckles. The natural tan leather interior of the case has two compartments with a blackened, simulated leather separating panel. Maker marked is embossed on the inside of the flap but we can’t make it out. The year mark of manufacturing is clearly readable though: 1941. The case shows light signs of wear and use.
