German WWII Civilian Gas Mask With Instructional Booklet
Produced Before the start and during the Second World War, gas mask made of rubber with rubberized seals over the seams. Metal framed eye-pieces with coloured filters and a flat raised tab over the nose position that inflates and deflates accordingly in the breathing process. It is stamped in red ink "50" and "WaA104" flanking the eagle insignia. The steel disk at the mouth position has several embossed numbers. The rear of the mask has four adjustable rubber straps. Overall very good condition.
Thegas mask comes with an original and rather hard to find instructional booklet with all 16 pages still intact. The booklet is in very good condition with minor signs of age.
