M39 Pony Fur Backpack
Constructed of olive drab canvas with leather and cowhide fittings, with a fold-over flap that covers its entire front. Full fur coverage to the main flap. All of the straps, buckles and buttons are complete. Maker marked and dated for 1942. The backpack shows signs of age and real use. There is light Surface rust to metal parts, one minor wear holes to the reverse and light stains from wear and storage.
