Japanese WWII Officer's Visor Cap

Japanese WWII Officer\'s Visor Cap

Japanese WWII Officer's Visor Cap

Made of olive colored wool body and crown. The crown is piped in red wool to its edge. Two metal grommet ventilation holes under each side of the crown. The Imperial Japanese Army brass star affixed to the front of the center band. The cap has its original black chinstrap fixed by metal officer’s buttons. Black patent finished visor. The black silk liner is complete. And the simulated leather sweatband is still in Place. Liner has hand embroidered  Kanji letters.

The cap shows signs of use and has one pin head sized hole to the top. All in all good used condition, its actually hard to find Japanese visor caps in better condition since they are made of rather cheap materials and dont tend to age well.

Nice example which looks very good on display!!
