Matching Set of Japanese Army Officer's "Type 3" Tunic and Pants in Excellent Condition

This set has never been in a Collection Before and was recently discovered by our picker in Japan and bought from a veteran estate.

Both tunic and pants came together in the same complete and matching condition. The tunic is "Type 3" regulation which continued from 1943 to the end of the war.
So, the insignia are a set of large collar tab with a single metal star and a set of sleeve band and a single yellow wool patch,
signifying the rank of Junior Lieutenant.
The material for the tunic and the pants is so-called "summer wool," a soft and thin wool fabric which are typical khaki colored material for summer Uniforms. To each sleeve is a hand embroidered rank star in Heavy golden bullion hand sewn in Place. Above the rank star is rank tresse sewn all arround the sleeve.

There is no visible moth damage, which is quite remarkable for a summer uniform because summer uniforms are often found wrinkled and heavily damaged by moth bites. Many summer wool tunics didn't survive, so I would say the summer wool set in this condition is very rare. Both the tunic and the pants are complete and in excellent condition.
You can find heavy wool tunics in good condition but summer wool tunics in good condition is extremely hard to find.

Perfect matching set in remarkable well preserved condition which never has been on the market Before!!
