Japanese WWII Army Second-Pattern Helmet Cover
 
A standard army issue helmet cover in complete, unissued condition. This one is a late-war piece with a drill cloth sewn near the edge of the cover for reinforcement.
Inside is marked with issue stamps that reads, "1944," "supplied by Arai as a government contractor," "inspected by
Tokyo Depo. And also sized marked for a large size. It easily fits on a large-size shell. The cover shows only minor signs of age and storage wear.
 
An essential item for any collection
of Japanese infantry uniforms and equipment. Very desirable and extremely hard to find!!
