Japanese WWII Army Officer's Field Cap
A typical higherquality wartime army officer's wool cap with silk lining. It has a bullion army star patch period handsewn to the front. There is absolutely no damage whatsoever on both the outside and inside of the cap. It's in a really amazing condition. The leather sweat is still soft and pliable. The leather chinstrap and the brass buttons are of simplified late-war pattern but fully original. Some surface rusts can be seen on the steel ventilation grommets and those for size adjustment in the rear. The main body is made from standard olive drab wool that was commonly used for officer's uniforms. Absolutely free from moth damage.
Truly a beautiful 100% original cap in an impeccable condition. Besides, it comes in a rare big size which is about 57-58.
It would be really difficult to find a better cap than this one. It is no exaggeration to say that this is one of the finest we ever had!
