Japanese WWII Rising-Sun Flag in Unused Condition

This is a very well preserved Japanese wartime cotton flag which is one of a dozen found in a storehouse recently in Japan.
In fact, this is the only flag that was found almost intact.  You can see a tiny one-millimeter moth bite, but otherwise, the flag is close to perfect. All the other flags that was found in the storehouse were more damaged and most of them heavily. The flag is made of white crotton with Red color print. There is a few missprints (see photos) which we like to see on war time produced examples. Two of the corners are reinforced and has the original tie string still attached. The flag meassures 70cm x 86cm.

In fact, it's a rare case to find a clean WW2-era flag like this.  The white background hasn't even turned yellow but it's definitely around 70 years old.  An extremely rare beautiful surviving example!!
