Russo-Japanese 1904/05 War Medal And Case of Issue
The medal is made of gold-colored alloy. The medal’s swiveling hanger is connected to a horizontal bar with four kanji characters, through which the ribbon is looped. An alloy hook-and-eye device is to the reverse. The medal is in average condition with signs of age.
Medal comes complete with a softwood case. The case, which separates along its sides, has a vertical series of eight kanji characters, stamped in gold, to its cover. The base of the interior is lined in a red velvet-like material.
